Local Walks in or near RCT
To help you all get out and about I've started recommending some places that you can go and explore.
Photos will also be updated once we reach each season so you can see what they look like all year round.
Llanerch Vineyard, The Woodland Walk
Name: Llanerch Wood
The Vale of Glamorgan CF72 8JU
Find out how to get there using this map:
I would recommend using the route just off the M4, Junction 34 roundabout since this is a more direct route with easier roads (rather than coming through Miskin).
Use the car park at the Llanerch Vineyard (free)
The entrance to the Woodland Walk is at the top left of the car park as you enter, there is a gate with the entrance to the path next to it (see the last photo above).
A woodland walk for you to explore, which opens out and you will then see two small lakes surrounded by blossoming trees and flowers in spring and summer. There are also benches to sit at to enjoy watching the little ducks swimming whilst having a picnic.
The walk can be a complete circle and can be done within half an hour, or an hour if you're exploring on the way.
These photos are from early March and will be updated once we get into springtime.
If you would like to book your slot on my spring photoshoot sessions, I have a few dates available where you can book your slot and join me at one of my favourite locations! Find out more by selecting' Book My Slot'.
